The subject of abuse in general can result in complex, emotional situations for the students. A major component of this lesson is peer learning and collaboration among students, but family engagement is also important. We value the ability of our students to be able to communicate their feelings and work through these sensitive topics as a unit. Sample discussion topics have been provided for family members.
